Steel Force, the originator of Sabertooth serrrated broadheads introduce an all-new HP(High Profile) stainless steel Sabertooth design for 2006. The new serration is an industry first utilizing a positive tooth design as opposed to the well known negative tooth serrations currrently used in knives and broadheads. By raising the teeth above the plane of the main cutting edge, cutting width can be maintained at the top of the tooth and the overall main blade width reduced. As an example a 7/8" wide blade will cut a 1" wide hole. In addition to the penetration increase a narrower blade provides, the HP main blade will use an exclusive graphite impregnated surface coating. The combination of friction reducing materials and the uneven surface texture of the coating reduce surface drag impressively.
